If there is one thing that I have learned from my recent friendship with Peter Paul, it is that he really is full of surprises.

A week or so ago, I got a FReepmail from someone with the screen name krucader_bravepages_com. The FReepmailer said, "Doug, it's me, Peter." I thought it was good that he joined FreeRepublic. I was even more surprised to find out when. He joined on October 14, 2002. Wait a minute. Wasn't he was in a prison in Brazil on that date? Yes, he was. How many other FReepers can say they joined while they were in a Brazilian hellhole prison? I think this will be a unique one.

Although Peter didn't post, he created a homepage as he was trying to get out the message. I created some paragraphs, but here it is, word for word from the homepage.

I am an American writer and internet consultant currently living in Venezuela for family reasons, and I have known Peter Paul for 25 years, when he was President of the Miami World Trade Center, a celebrated International Lawyer and dedicated anti-Communist/anti-Castro activist based in Miami. His efforts to topple Fidel Castro and stop Castro's guerilla insurgency throughout Latin America, in association with various intelligence agencies, TWENTY FIVE YEARS AGO was rewarded with a three year prison term and a cocaine possession charge that he should not have had to take responsibility for.

The media and The Clinton supporters in the Justice Department, aided by law firms and brokerages firms including Merrill Lynch,who are hiding their own criminal wrongdoing, have successfully managed to assasinate Paul's character in the media and overnight turn a friend of Presidents, internet guru, associate of Chief Justice Warren Burger and President Ronald Reagan, into a jail bird and convicted felon because that suits the Clinton plan for destroying any accuser armed with the truth. Robert Novak began reporting how the Clinton appointed US Attorneys and newly established Bush Justice Department were ignoring Paul's voluntary presentation of evidence of Clinton Senate campaign crimes, in March, 2001.

In June, 2001, ABC 20/20 broadcast an investigative report corroborating paul's claims of Clinton crimes, while at the last minute excluding the smoking gun that tied Hillary directly to the million dollar payment Paul personally made to produce Hillary's largest fundraiser of her campaign. Paul asociated Judical Watch and Larry Klayman because he knew no major law firm would represent him against the Democratic Party, the Clintons, Merrill Lynch, Paine Webber, AND a renegade, corrupt OC strike force of the FBI, without being coerced or compromised by one or all the potent groups he had the courage to confront and demand their accountability- in destroying the company he founded with Spider Man creator Stan Lee, in corrupting the federal electoral process with limitless campaign finance irregularities and violations, and in looting his and many other public companies by covert government operatives acting with impunity through holding the very FBI hostage to its own wrongdoing.

Freepers seem to uniformly expect that Paul wont live to see the courtroom just based on his confrontation of the Clintons, well that is only one of the unscrupulous adversaries he faces who used to be his friends. Not many Americans would risk all they have, be subjected to fifth world dungeon conditions for almost one and a half years and counting, and prepare to return to the US (where he was headed when stopped by the New York initiated Brazilian extradition process in August, 2001) to face more than a stacked deck, just to finally hold these power elites accountable. Some of you may be asking how it was that Peter was able to create a FreeRepbublic homepage from a prison in Brazil. I told you he is full of surprises.

Peter is the only prisoner in the history of Brazilian prisons who got a judge to order that, as an extradition detainee, he could have a laptop computer in his cell to assist in his defense with lawyers in the United States. Once he had the laptop in a cell, that ranged from 4 to 36 prisoners in the same room, he set up a corner table that he was able to secure by bribing a guard. He got a wireless card connection to the internet that was one of the first in Brazil in early 2002, and he was able to stay linked to the internet 18-20 hours a day. That part of the story isn't so unusual. Many FReepers are online FReeping 18-20 hours a day.

While online, Peter constructed five different web sites that presented different aspects of his whistle blowing. He smuggled a digital camera into the cell and took 12 photos that were posted on a free web site he created at mediamonitors.com. He made it into a travelogue satire site which showed the barbaric conditions of the cell while offering a humorous parody on a zagat review of the facilities. Peter was able to work with Paul Rodriguez of Insight on the News to help with his stories, and when his American cell mate was tortured by high Federal officials to intimidate Peter, he reported it to Chris Ruddy of News Max. Ruddy filed a complaint with the US Ambassador to Brazil, which triggered a cover up investigation about why Brazilian officials are torturing Americans. That whistleblowing resulted in the loss of Peter's computer and his transfer to a more secure prison in the capital city of Brasilia.

Ann Lewis and Hillary, I know that you or your partners in crime are reading this. I bet you thought that, like Jim McDougal, Peter would never make it back alive, didn't you? You do not know his determination. His story is going to be told, and when the truth is finally learned and widely disseminated, Hillary is going to have to be satisfied to remain the junior senator from New York. Boston Red Sox fans will most assuredly be happy about that development. Since Hillary was elected senator, the Yankee fans have paid dearly. The Hillary Curse has been in effect, and the Yanks have not taken a Series since her election.

I'll convince Peter to come to this thread and provide some more details. There has been some Divine intervention in the effort to stop Hillary and save this country. Peter was in a prison and in the only small area of Brazil that had the new wireless technology. He was on a computer online in prison, and the guards didn't even realize it. He told them, "See, there are no wires here. How can I be on the Internet?" Many, many times it looked like the civil case was dead. It had even once been dismissed. In fact, Peter is lucky to have made it out of Brazil alive. For those who have thought that this is some kind of real bad guy, you are wrong. He has been my friend now for two years. He joined others in doing a good thing --- ripping off Fidel Castro and helping to fund the anti-communists in Central and South America. If Carter were not the president at the time, he was have been hailed as a patriot instead of prosecuted as a criminal. I have done extensive research, including what happened in the collapse of Stan Lee Media. I spent many hours looking at bankruptcy documents. He didn't do it, no matter what the lying scumbag weasel David Kendall has said in court. Kendall will someday pay for those words and for misleading the court. Many FReepers think nothing will come of this. Folks, the case is going to court. Had Peter not appealed to try to bring Hillary back as a defendant, Bill would be in court within the month. She will be testify, and she is going to get nailed for the things she has done. She may never face criminal prosecution, but Peter is going to put a legal stake in the vampire's heart.
