I went to the Drudge Report to see the "Smith has died" stort and saw an advertisement for Tom Tancredo for president? Am I the only one who has seen this? It was at the top of Drudge's website. Pretty nice looking too.

Savage should not run for president and instead use his show to promote Tancredo, who agrees with him big time on the illegal invasion from Mexico.

D'OH! It's not there any longer. Did you happen to save it to your hard drive, NU?

I agree!

I've got it figured out.

Savage is running so that he'll make Hunter and/or Tancredo look acceptable by comparison. By going right, he moves Hunter and Tancredo to the 'center', which unfortunately, is where most "Republicans" like to comfortably dwell. The establishment doesn't like to get too close to the edge, so Savage acts like a good border collie, to define the boundaries for the too timid average voter.

The Joe Voter thinks, "Oh, Savage is out there on the edge, and Duncan Hunter is over here, closer to me than Savage is over there, so maybe Duncan Hunter is a pretty good choice after all."
