The Republican Study Commitee isn't leaving on a jetplane; the latest:
After the Pentagon rejected pressure from Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other House Democrat leaders to provide her a military C-32 Jet, Congressman John Murtha (D-PA) responded angrily after the media reported the story. So angrily, in fact, that the Defense Appropriations Chairman apparently believes that it is "in the interests of the United States" to threaten Department of Defense funding over the flap.Our nation is at war.
THE INITIAL THREAT
Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., the Pelosi ally who chairs the House military appropriations subcommittee, said he has spoken to Pentagon officials about the need to provide Pelosi with a bigger plane that can fly passengers coast to coast in comfort.... "I don't need to pressure them. I just tell them what they need to do." Murtha said.

Murtha threatens us all!
This is beyond despicable.
It has happened before on a smaller scale- a Congressman from Texas (Charlie something) blocked funds for all military attache aircraft for several budget cycles after a military aide refused to fly the Congressman's girlfriend up to see the Khyber Pass.
So.....how long will it be before the witch gets her plane?
The left doesn't believe we're at war. They've never really believed we're at war. They consider the WOT a law enforcement matter to be resolved (according to Mzz Pelosi). To understand what they say and do, you have to understand this fact.
So now Dems don't like leaks. LOL
So - when did democrats start caring about that?
No matter what, this lets their true colors stand out.
Imagine if Repubs did this stuff, the MSM would be setting up a gallows.

Air Force To Become Pelosi Air
...Nowhere does the Sergeant at Arms address Pelosi's request to use it for the entire Northern California delegation, nor her family or her staff, all of which is unprecedented by Hastert or anyone else.
It's not just the size and operating cost of the plane, it's what she wants to do with it.
I'm sure she has a fleet of custom made ones.
So Murtha in all his wisdom thinks his pal Nancy's desire for a bigger airplane is more important than the continued defense of our country. What a guy. Just the kind of judgment we need from those in charge. The people of this country are going to rue the day they turned Congress over to this bunch of self-serving traitors.
