BAGHDAD, Iraq – Iraqi security forces detained an aide to the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq in a raid early Thursday at a gas station south of Baghdad, state-run television and a security official said. The official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media, said the aide to Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, also known as Abu Ayyub al-Masri, was one of two men arrested in the dawn raid.

The two suspects ran a gas station in Mahmoudiya, about 20 miles south of Baghdad, on behalf of al-Qaeda in Iraq, the official said, adding the returns from selling gas and other oil products on the black market were being used to finance the operations of local al-Qaeda in Iraq cells. The official, who was involved in the raid, did not identify the two men, but added that the al-Masri aide had confessed to meeting the terror network leader the previous day in the Mahmoudiya area, but that he could not tell investigators of his current whereabouts because he was constantly on the move.

I thought Zaraqawa was dead -- killed about a year ago. They have a new al Queda leader in Iraq who may have been captured in a commando raid by Iraqi forces.

One thread had that the US has the DNA of this leader and that blood tests should confirm/deny the capture of the al Qaeda leader. The same thread claimed the man had singed all ten fingers so fingerprints could not be taken to identify him (it would allow him to handle weapson, etc., and not leave fingerprints).

One thing that needs to highlighted in bold is that this is the work of Iraqi Security Soldiers.

Another thing that must be strongly emphasized is that the Democrats had a losing strategy in Vietnam under LBJ, followed up by the losers Hanoi Jane and traitor John Kerry subverting the military successes in Vietnam by protests here in the United States.

History has proven that the Tet Offensive was a disaster to the Viet Cong. It ceased to be a fighting organization in Vietnam after the Tet offsensive.

However, the Communist Broadcast System (CBS), NBC, and ABC helped to turn the Tet Offensive into a Communist victory by subverting the image of what was really going on in Vietnam -- the defeat of the Viet Cong.

After the Tet Offensive, North Vietnamese troops had to do all the fighting since the VC was no longer a fighting organization.

We must portray the Democrats who control Congress for the LOSERS they truly are... They lost the presidency in 2000 and 2004... And they continue to be losers...

In the book/movie We Were Soldiers... And Boys too, now retired Lt. General Hal Moore points out that LBJ made Vietnam a police action and not a war. This meant that rules that would have kept good officers in command of units would have been in effect.

Instead, with the rules LBJ put into effect, green kids were in charge of platoons, like the one the went charging after a NV solider and was cutoff as told in the book and movie. However, there was a significant military victory even with that platoon, as three regiments of the North Vietnamese tried to overrun the platoon and failed. (Artillery fire was credited with saving what was left of the platoon).

But the key point was that the war effort in Vietnam was subtroverted by Hanoi Jane and others. Now history is repeating itself, and we should show the current traitors, cowards, and defeatists for what they are -- losers.

There has been too much good blood shed in Iraq to allow Murtah and Pelosi to try to transform Iraq into another Vietnam.
