Cindy Sheehan @ UCLA
2.6.07 | Bruin1

Help!!! Cindy Sheehan is coming to give a speech at UCLA on Feb the 26th . The propagation of her nonsense is being paid by the student association (our student fees are going to pay for this profanity) and the few very few conservatives on campus need help organizing a demonstration. Things at UCLA, as in many other campuses, are pretty bad. Today there was supposed to be an illegal immigration debate but the University unilaterally canceled the event after MECHA and other radical groups organized a protest. I can’t stand this anymore conservative free speech is routinely and blatantly trampled at UCLA. If you can come over or have any creative ideas on how to make the Right be heard you are more than welcome.

Judging by the form I’m not sure this is the right place to post this, but I don’t visit the site that often, it’s pretty late, and I’m desperate!!!

Heckle her. What's good for the goose...

Seriously, heckle her. Commies think it's okay to heckle conservatives, so they must think it's okay, period.

Does someone actually pay this nut to talk? Doesn't say much about their character.

I was a senior at UCLA in 1966-67. One of the fraternities used to have a Viva Zapata party every spring. UMAS (United Mexican-American Students) protested against the supposed sterotyping the party caused and petitioned the administration to force its cancellation.

This sh!t has been going on for 40 years. Leftist-symp university adminstrators have allowed the squelching of free pseech to go for so many decades I'm afarid that it is only when conservative students become radicalized to the point of, say, taking over the chandcellor's office in counter-protest taht things may start to change.

IMO, if folks would just ignore this publicity whore, she would fade into the horizon...

I don't know how things where back then, but I doubt we can compare your '67 UMAS with my '07 MECHA. MECHA is a Mexican openly racist group, their motto is "within the race everything, outside the race nothing". Now, I'm Hispanic myself but these sons of beeeps scare the hell out me.

I agree with you, however in a place like UCLA where the indoctrination is constant. Someone has to something to show the sheep that there is another way, the Right way.

IF I remember correctly, UMAS may have morphed into MECHA. I think there was another radical Hispanic group back then and they merged.

It was pretty much the same thing...ethnic identity politics, reconquista, etc. These groups really got a head of steam up along about 69-70. It wasn't only the hispanics...remember, two Black Panthers were shot and killed on the UCLA campus in January 1969. There were quite a few incidents from these radical groups on campuses around the country. All of these people were the evil spawn of Saul Alinsky.

My memeory of things is a little hazy as I had left a few years before when campus politics hadn't become so radicalized and was deep into my new profession of killing godless commie b*st*rds.

Just wanted to let you know that they suddenly changed the date of her speech they did it a couple of days ago, I’m happy to tell you that it was a complete flop. Not even 100 people showed and probably about ten of them where conservatives. I was at the entrance holding my protest sing and I’m glad to say that most people would go in and a couple of minutes later come out. THANK YOU ALL for your moral support.

Did anyone else protest with you or were you the only one. I'm glad the turnout was pathetic. How much did they pay the bitch for spewing her communist propaganda? You said there was a series of speakers, who else is is in the lineup?
