I remember when that aging matron stopped by and called us "[censored] nuts." (Even matrons use very bad words at times.) You can't say anything is "nuts" unless you know that reality is different. So what is this reality? I ask and ask, I asked her, I ask her whole clique, and none of them, including the aging matron, can give me one fact. None will give us a theory based on facts. Nothing. Silence.
They are the ones who can't face reality.
The medical examiner mentioned iced tea as a possibility, didn't he? That always made me wonder why he did not mention domestic violence as a possibility. A far more likely possibility by the way.
It seems, as far as this medical examiner goes, hearsay talk about iced tea consumption takes precedence over broken bones in an ex-ray report.
Mmm, not as a possible cause of her "collapse," but merely in a discussion of potential sources of her one low blood potassium level. I don't recall that he gave it any credence at all.
Actually, it was Michael who dredged up Terri's alleged iced tea drinking. He was desperate to blame Terri for ending up on the floor nearly dead.

Additional documentation appears to show the abortion doctor's campaigning may even have helped the newly elected state Attorney General Paul Morrison.

I've long assumed that the Republican Party platform included pro-life, pro-family and pro 1st and 2nd amendment planks. Is this true or false? Or is the platform amended each election cycle to conform to the positions of the top polling potential presidential nominee (ie, the one with the most money or star billing and the MSM eye)?

Notice that the very first of the three important questions you must answer while you have your wits is, do you want to be dehydrated and starved to death? YOU, being of sound mind, would never take that option; so this clause is really about the intentions of lawyers, agents, hospitals... everybody else. Transparently, this is their bump-off-your-grandmother clause. Dehydration is the legal loophole in laws against euthanasia and assisted suicide. The right-to-die movement is writing a murder-by-dehydration clause into all the state laws.
In the name of dignity and mercy, they will inflict hideous, merciless deaths on the helpless. A new holocaust has been launched.
His father took him to China to find help for this young man in similar condition to Terri. They got him stem cell treatment, although the story does not make clear this is not the liberal's choice, embryonic stem cell.
Michael was 14 when he drowned and was resuscitated after becoming intoxicated at a beach party with other teens. His brain had been starved of oxygen from anywhere between 10 and 30 minutes, which caused extensive brain damage.

In my blog, Getting Elected Blogline, I posted many times on the non-voluntary euthanasia of Terri Schindler Schiavo by the withholding of food and water. In one post, Is The Camel’s Nose in The Tent?, I commented on the slippery slope of first physician-assisted suicide, next voluntary euthanasia and then non-voluntary euthanasia, as in Terri’s case. (You can read about Terri in the blog titled Blogs for Terri.)
Now, the slope, if possible, has become even slipper and has turned, in a horrendous direction - physician-assisted suicide for mentally ill patients.
A Swiss Federal Tribunal court decision added mental illnesses as another reason for physician-assisted suicide, with “safeguards”. The assumption is that the decision for physician-assisted suicide is voluntary.
The court said: “It must be recognized that an incurable, permanent, serious mental disorder can cause similar suffering as a physical (disorder), making life appear unbearable to the patient in the long term.”

Poor kid is in a lot worse shape than Terri. But for purposes of the experiment, that's good. If Michael Mobley can regain some function with umbilical cord stem cells, it will be happy news indeed.
Meanwhile, I wish reporters could get a few facts straight. Terri could track (within her limited vision) and could swallow her own saliva. She also liked to listen to favorite music (and reacted aversely to music she didn't like).
It must be recognized that lawyers cause more suffering than mental diseases ever did.
So that's where all the Nazi doctors fled to after the war -- across the Swiss border.
And the reason behind this is very simple. The culture of death knows how disgusted moral people became when they learned how Terri was being slowly murdered. Their hope is that we will eventually throw up our hands and say, "this is inhumane, it is better to just kill these people than to starve adn dehydrate them to death, let's just legalize euthanasia."
And this is what we have to watch against, because this is the normal response of many people. I think they have sought to make the alternative seem so macabre that people will start begging for euthanasia.
Excellent observation. Next surely WILL be, "an injection is so much more merciful......."
That is what they are hoping for because they know that that is the normal reaction. It was my first thought until I realized that they wanted us to think this.
