I admire John Warner, and am surprised at his position on this. I think some of our GOPers are acting like a deer in the headlights.

The party desparately needs leadership from the grass roots. We need a counter organization where one can send money. We need a back bench leader who is not afraid to loudly demand the party find its spine.

Right now we do not have a leader of any merit that is not simply a media maven.

I have never liked John Warner and am not surprised by his behavior. The only difference between Warner and Specter is that Warner is from Virginia. Now that Virginia is no longer Virginia, but Beltwayania, Warner is simply becoming himself. His entire history is replete with little stabs in the back.
