I admire the way in which this man lived out his beliefs, but I admire even more the untold number of people who have lived out their beliefs by taking up arms and defending our country. For every one of these who stand up and preach appeasement and pacifism there are thousands and thousands who have made the ultimate sacrifice to afford them opportunity to live the life they choose.
I have to wonder if this man could drive by a national cemetery and view the rows and rows of crosses, each marking the grave of someone who disagreed with him but fought for his rights, without feeling at least a twinge of respect for those buried there.
