FOX ran a short segment on it this morning. It appears that America's "best and brightest" wrote it off as propaganda.

Outstanding. Thanks for posting. I was going to attend the event, but unexpected car issues caused me to miss.

"So under the Real ID Act, that's enough for their removal from the United States."
Uh, sorry bud. To do that, we'd actually have to enforce our immigration laws. What's sauce for the goose . . . .

Having graduated from Western Michigan University I can state with relative certainty that WMUs campus is truly the Western Mecca.

The correct quote is (from the former woman prime minister of Israel- I can't remember her name):
"We will have peace in the Middle East when the Arabs love their children more than they hate the Jews""The main purpose of the protest is to really call out the fact that this program is generalizing an entire group of people and saying the actions of a few represent everyone," Abou-Chakra said in an interview before the event."
What an idiot- didn't one of the speakers ACTUALLY SAY ESSENTIALLY THE SAME THING?????

"Uhhhhh...." I think it would have made more sense if the second "peace" had been placed in quotes of its own. I believe he was addressing the "peace" protestors who believe in (an appeased) "peace" at all costs...
I've heard Shoebat talk before and while I have no way of knowing the context of his remarks in light of last night's presentation, I think my interpretation would be consistent with the message I've heard him put forward before.

Uhhhhh....
I agree wholeheartedly with the sentiment, but perhaps Thomas Paine expressed it better: "If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace."

There is no "uhhhh". The whole socialst ani-war movement is built on the principle that "peace" is the absoloute end-all-be-all of human existence. They will never fight an enemy because they worship the concept of "peace", they love that concept more than they love their children, whom they would allow butchered before saying that war can be a good thing.
The whole pacifist, "peace" ideal is what makes America weak.
