In the Muslim world, victims are left with permanent defacing of the human body such as cut off fingers, ears, noses, gouged out eyes, and scars and incinerations from fire that remain with the victim for life. Such torture is done for the sake of torture and suffering alone and does not end until the thug reaches self-satisfaction. Such tortures incapacitate and cause excruciating pain for the remainder of that person’s life.

It's almost as though the author is condemning such actions. Does the rabbi not listen to insightful minds like Jane Fonda's when she tells us how we ought respect these noble civilizations older than our own?

Personally I don't care if they use bolt cutters and blow torches on the 'detainees' at Gitmo.

In my world they'd all be facing an eventual firing squad anyway.

Never listen to the MSM and their so-called experts that claim torture does not work..

They are Lying...

Torture is a very reliable means of interrogation..
That's why it has been used for thousands of years, if not tens of thousands...

I'm all for using torture when appropriate..
I'm also in favor of using drugs, so-called lie detectors, MRI's, EEG's, voice stress analysis, and any other technologies we may have...

I'm fully confident that a bit of technology and some judiciously applied pain can bring out every bit of information a subject has...
