I like the concept tremendously (and say that as an ex-SFer), but isn't that view looking from SF to Marin?
I moved out of Sin City in 1980, btw, having moved in in 1977.

It is the exit ramp off of the Bay Bridge into SF; the view is of Treasure Island with Oakland/Berkeley in the distance.
