Like the Timex watches of old, those Kink folks take a whipping and keep on licking.
Or something like that...

Gee, I am surprised. This type of industry, twisted porn, and the such should just fit right in with the radical left of San Freakcisco....just think of all the jobs it would provide to San Freakcisco's, shall we say, less than normal population....

Just make the building a porn film studio where the actors are all homeless people -- both problems solved.

I guess they'll be in a bind whether they get the building or not.

I like the concept tremendously (and say that as an ex-SFer), but isn't that view looking from SF to Marin?
I moved out of Sin City in 1980, btw, having moved in in 1977.

"We have a clean and safe work environment, the models are well paid, and they are explicitly covered by workmen's comp," he said, adding that many of the company's employees are "lifestyle players," who enjoy bondage on their own time as well. Workman's comp? I could imagine the claim forms for that. And what happens if one of the "lifestyle players" tries to claim that an "injury" outside of the workplace happened at work?
Will the local investigative reporting crew be following the employees around with cameras: "Mistress Spanks-a-lot is receiving workman's comp because of an injury to her whipping arm keeps her from working, but this secret video shows that she can still swing a mean whip on her own time."

It is the exit ramp off of the Bay Bridge into SF; the view is of Treasure Island with Oakland/Berkeley in the distance.

Some kind of group from San Francisco put together a bunch of porn for child offenders. If a child got caught, the whole family (minor siblings too) had to watch these porn films, including beastiality. The LCA Minnesota Synod was involved with this and defended it, using it through their Social Services branch, as I recall. Herb Chilstrom was the local synod bishop and became the head of the 5.3 million ELCA.
Some objected to this and left the Minnesota Synod. Most did not. The synod grew. This was all in the 1980's.

Got it, and now I get that the joke is that the off-ramp leaves the US sector, I think yes?

An adult video store recently moved next door to the Music Store in Garland, TX that serves band students from the surrounding schools. I mean right next door, as in their walls touch strip-mall style. So now little kids looking for a new bassoon reed are confronted with the Adult Video Outlet.
I blame the strip-mall owner for being greedy.

OTOH, they're getting an early start for a lifetime of, "This one time, at band camp..." jokes.

Reminds me of the SNL Nancy Pelosi skit, as long as it's two consenting adults and they agree on a stop and release word like "pomegranate."
