The above coyote is a healthy looking one...the one's in Los Angeles are pretty mangy looking, since they are always getting hit by cars, getting hung up in fencing, and not eating much other than cats and small dogs. Nearly every one I have seen has a messed up tail.
Ah, yes. The photogenic face of the "Canadian Prarie Wolf." Their pelts make wonderful fur ruffs on jacket hoods. Less expensive than timber wolf, just as warm.
