Prez-Minded Rudy To Shed Finance Biz

January 23, 2007 -- Rudy Giuliani, a 2008 GOP White House front-runner, is moving to sell the Wall Street wing of his multi-pronged business - the strongest sign yet that he's making a serious play for the presidency, The Post has learned.

Officials at Giuliani Partners have been meeting quietly with several firms about buying the firm's stake in Giuliani Capital Advisors, an investment banking company, sources familiar with the discussions said.

The Chicago-based investment firm is the largest arm of the former mayor's self-named business, and may be the biggest cash cow of Giuliani's four-unit business.

But they "get involved in . . . issues which could be politically sensitive," said one source familiar with the discussions. MO< The exact price wasn't clear, but the multimillion-dollar sale would have to be approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Giuliani snatched up the firm from Ernst & Young for a reported $9.8 million just over two years ago.

Officials at Giuliani Partners, which has the controlling equity stake in the Chicago-based GCA, declined comment.

The move comes at a time when Giuliani is ratcheting up his national effort, filling holes in his campaign operation as he's faced questions about whether he'll commit to a run.

Rino Rudy is unelectable. If he is nominated enough evangleicals and social conservatives will either bolt to a third party or just stay home as to insure a rat win. The republican will split on a pro gay, pro illegal, pro abortion, anti gun liberal.

An old wives tale being clung to like a scared child with a blanket. Rudy polls very well with conservative southern Republican voters,

RINO-Rudy is like a LOADED diaper.

If he changes his liberal tune at this stage of the game... he is FULL OF SH*T - nothing more than a political opportunist and an out and out LIAR. His last minute, "jailhouse"-type "conversions are NOT to be believed.

It appears that he is willing to do or say anything to get elected, and thus is no better than kerry and any of his demonRAT ilk.

In short, he is not to be trusted with the highest office in the land.

He may get many, but enough will bolt as to make him lose several swing states in the election. He is a loser liberal.

Well, I think the "No RINOs Need Apply" approach has worked very well so far, don't you?

The most Conservative among us, in their pique, have handed both houses of Congress to the shameful, Christ-hating, America-hating Liberals, and now they're about to hand the White House back to the Clintons.

That will just about tear it up for good, I suppose, since the Dems will doing everything in their (by then) considerable power to ensure that there is no repeat of the '94 mid-term election. Expect illegals to get the vote, and felons - just for good measure.

Expect an assault on the Electoral College as a foundation for it's eventual, but ultimate, demise. You might even keep an eye out for the Fairness Doctrine, as they cement their power base and consolidate their majority.

But hey, don't dare nominate a RINO simply because he loves his country, hates it's enemies, and will defend it to his death. Don't nominate a RINO who might actually ensure this country's existence, as we know and love it, for another decade or so.

Let's instead completely jumble our priorities and deny a man the nomination because he has the temerity to be (and here I will say it all with the same exaggerated outrage of the stay-at-home-and-teach-them-a-lesson wing of our party) pro-gay, pro-choice, pro-immigrant and anti-gun.

That his stance on these issues requires that we self-flaggelate and toss our country to the Clintons, Schumers, Reids and Pelosi's of this world is to me unfathomable. Beat Hillary and save our country - to me this is THE single biggest priority. The rest is important, but a distant second.

It is not the conservative voters fault if the republicans lose due to the fact that they party pushed candidates that did not appeal to them. It is the fault of the party and the person running

"An old wives tale being clung to like a scared child with a blanket. Rudy polls very well with conservative southern Republican voters"

Only because the southern airways have not been flooded with his social ideas.

Give it time and he's toast in the south.
