Dick Morris's Appeal
Persons on Republican mailing lists this week received an appeal for funds from Dick Morris, President Bill Clinton's political strategist in 1995-1996, asking for a contribution between $25 and $100 or more to finance a critical film documentary of Sen. Hillary Clinton.
Signing the letter as "Former Clinton Adviser," Morris wrote: "If you liked how the Swift Boat Veterans turned the tide against John Kerry, you understand how a top Clinton aide can turn the tables and stop a Clinton-style liberal from becoming the next president of the United States."
Morris's appeal was made through The Presidential Coalition, run by conservative activist Dave Bossie. The letter described Morris as dedicated to electing presidents like Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush. Since 1996, Morris has been an author, columnist and television commentator.

Neither do I. He will fill in for Neal Boortz or be on his show from time to time and whenever I hear him I can't help but wonder what his real motive is.

I always got the sense Mr. Toe likes Bill and detests Hillary. This may get interesting.

"I don't trust Dick Morris."
He is a slimy man with no real principles who says whatever it takes to advance his career or get him attention. He'd sign on to Lucifer's campaign if it would bring him a buck.

Is it just me or is it the general feeling.......?
WTF is the rush to engage in Presidential Politics. The election is about 22 months or so out is it not?
Geez! I wish it were illegal to declare, advertise or raise money for any election until 6 months prior, maybe 3 months prior.

I don't trust Dick Morris. No need to! He's being honest. Read what he says:
contributions... to finance a critical film documentary of Sen. Hillary Clinton.
Which in the reader's mind might seem to be the same as:
contributions... to finance a film documentary critical of Sen. Hillary Clinton.
Not at all the same!

There are plenty of reasons not to elect Hillary, but "because she hurt Dick Morris' feelings" is not high on the list.
To: stockpirate
Morris is a kook, but he was a Clinton insider for a while. He told O'Reilly on air once that after an argument Bill struck him in the face. Hillary walked him out saying "He gets that way sometimes." I thought it would bring some response from the Clinton camp, but it didn't.
This might be a great idea.

I don't trust Dick Morris. I don't always trust him; but one thing I have always trusted in Dick Morris and that his unrelenting and abiding dislike; if not hate; of Hillary.
