Harun Yahya needs to evolve.

But despite all the research that has been carried out, the claim of "human evolution" has not been backed up by any concrete scientific discovery, particularly in the fossil field.

What drivel. You posted the same nonsense yesterday, and I cited dozens of human ancestors. Moreover, in addition to overwhelming fossil evidence, genetics now proves beyond any doubt that humans are apes.

Common descent is so firmly established, that even the Intelligent Designers and many creationists accept it. Get with the program!

From the site to which you linked:

His pen-name, Harun Yahya, is formed from the names "Harun" (Aaron) and "Yahya" (John) in the esteemed memory of the two Prophets who struggled against infidelity.

Many works of Harun Yahya are being currently translated into English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Albanian, Serbo-Croat (Bosnian), Polish, Urdu, Indonesian, Kazakh, Azeri, Malay and Malayalam. The target is to translate all books into English and many other languages in the near future, and thus to make them available for the benefit of all people.

The common point in all the writer's works is that all the topics covered by his works are in full agreement with the Qur'an, and strongly affirmed by Qur'anic understanding. Even the topics addressed by science and mostly considered complicated and confusing are narrated very lucidly and explicitly in the books of Harun Yahya. For this reason, these books appeal to everyone, from every age and social group.

Harun Yahya's books on faith-related topics communicate the existence and oneness of God and are written with the main purpose of introducing Islam to those who are strangers to religion, and reconciling their hearts to the truth. For Muslims, these books are advice as well as a reminder. The writer has published works on all the basic issues referred to in the Qur'an that expand the dedication and contemplation of Muslims.

Do you just pass on radical Islamic propaganda without reading it, or do you actually believe it?

I know exaxtoy how the author feels. I, too, have hard time accepting that your typical molecular biologist and your typical creationist are descended from a common ancestry.

We are not going to get anywhere arguing for or against a faith based belief. Those who oppose evolution will not accept the miraculous nature of the process God uses to ensure the survival of His creations in a dynamic environment and those opposed to Divine involvement will never accept the hand of God in anything that they believe they comprehend.

Darwinists have had so little success discussing the science of their beliefs that they have turned it into a religion. If you try to discuss science with them they will shout insults at you until you give up and go away.

Will you do a word-by-word analysis with me of the Creation accounts in Genesis?

I am willing to use the King James Version of the Bible, if that is your wish.

We will discover that the text itself, on its own terms, is gives a muddled and contradictory account.

Rather than argue evolution versus Biblical Creation, let's stipulate that we are going to take the Bible word-for-word literally and go through the text.

When we're done, we will have two conflicting accounts, and we'll be looking for all that water above the stars.

Shall we begin?

When science contradicts myth, there will always be those who are heavily invested in myth and who cannot let it go. On a more pedestrian level, how many fought the end of the pony express, how many demanded an end to the intrusion of electricity, and how many shamen in the wilderness would have fought to the death against anti-biotics? The problem is that we are not open. Instead, we are closed and set by past beliefs, even though they be ancient, by needs tracable to childhood, even though they be simplistic, and by an often overwhelming fear of change, even though it be inevitable.

Wow. An outright falsehood in the third sentence.

Harun doesn't waste any time, does he?

LOL!

"The man in the street is for the most part unaware of this fact, and thinks that the claim of human evolution is supported by a great deal of firm evidence.

It's probably a good thing he's not aware of that. He should be aware and focusing on the fact that he's in danger of being run over by a car, or worse, a big mean o'le SUV!

the claim of "human evolution" has not been backed up by any concrete scientific discovery, particularly in the fossil field.

This argument is false and has been addressed and refuted many times on this very site.
