Because that gas was refined with $70/bbl oil. We won't feel this for a month or more.

All this time, it was really the lefties who controlled the price of oil, not Dick Cheney's smoke filled room friends! They deliberately kept it high during Bush's administration and are only lowering it because the Dems are in power!

Gas has dropped 30 cents a gallon in the last two weeks around here. It was 2.35, now it's 2.05 with some stations under $2.00.

Cue the suspicious refinery fires < /tinfoil hat>
