I've been feeling sad for him the past couple of days. If the country, the media and our so-called leaders were united with him from the beginning instead of sending mixed messages to the enemy, we wouldn't be where we are today. Even his own party is abandoning him now. He truly doesn't deserve this.

I've been feeling that way for a while too, but I saw a good interview with his dad a while back and he put things back into perspective for me. He did a good job (for me) of putting petty politics sort of in it's proper perspective and making it clear that this stuff is "expected" and not taken to heart too much.

I on the other hand would have gone postal on the MSM long ago.

I know what you mean..I have as well. And I prayed for him with all of my heart yesterday and will continue to do so.

We FReepers used to make a tremendous impact on the house and senate by organizing call-ins. Today I called seven senators' offices and made my support of our President's agenda known. Very clearly known.

CALLS MATTER EVEN ABOVE SNAIL MAIL. Emails given as much time as it takes to hit the send button.

Our Presidents needs out prayers. I believe this intensely, and I feel this intensely.

We can help out President move this huge liberal mountain of biased reporting. But we cannot do it without our Father's Hand.

No symbolism, all substance. Hang in there GW.

So very true. I agree wholeheartedly with both of you, and others who have expressed similar sentiments.

"He truly doesn't deserve this."

No, he does not. But great men don't always get their due during their lifetime. I'm absolutely certain that if we had had the biased, cr@ppy, anti-American media that we have today, George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and Abe Lincoln would've been portrayed as fools, too.

I love President Bush. It's going to be a shame when we lose the White House in 2008, but I blame that on the media and the uninformed IDIOTS that surround me. And a totally WEAK national GOP.

(Some living under my very own roof, but we won't go into that tonight, LOL!)
