Do you consider it "crying like a woman" when a Marine or soldier sheds a tear while holding the body of a fallen buddy?

He deserves much more from his country than what he is getting. God Bless this man! He needs our prayers now more than ever.

I know what you mean..I have as well. And I prayed for him with all of my heart yesterday and will continue to do so.

We FReepers used to make a tremendous impact on the house and senate by organizing call-ins. Today I called seven senators' offices and made my support of our President's agenda known. Very clearly known.

CALLS MATTER EVEN ABOVE SNAIL MAIL. Emails given as much time as it takes to hit the send button.

Our Presidents needs out prayers. I believe this intensely, and I feel this intensely.

We can help out President move this huge liberal mountain of biased reporting. But we cannot do it without our Father's Hand.

I agree 100%. I don't always agree with Bush, but he doesn't waver from what he believes in, and he truly cares about this country. That to me, is the defining characteristic of any leader. Unlike some we know..."cough"

This is why I love our President.Like many have stated, I do not always agree with him. But I love him because he is a patriot. I would love a democrat patriot too, but I haven't seen any of them for a long , long time.

God bless you and your tender heart President Bush. This is the essence of American Warriorship, as it was for the CMH recipient you have honored with color and tear.

Perhaps DmanA is not a real man. Real men do cry

May God bless this noble, brave and compassionate man, our President.

I pray for him every day. He is carring such a burden.

No symbolism, all substance. Hang in there GW.

I've been feeling sad for him the past couple of days. If the country, the media and our so-called leaders were united with him from the beginning instead of sending mixed messages to the enemy, we wouldn't be where we are today. Even his own party is abandoning him now. He truly doesn't deserve this.

So very true. I agree wholeheartedly with both of you, and others who have expressed similar sentiments.

Read this thread. It really is an Oprah nation. I have serious doubts it can survive like this.

Boy, does THAT inspire confidence. I'm wondering if he's really up to this job.

First of all, how many living, breathing human beings are "up to this job"--having the existence of the world on their shoulders? In a nuclear/terrorist age, fighting in the firekeg of the ME... that's not an exaggeration.

Second of all, I believe that he has demonstrated, by far, that he is more than "up to the job." He makes the tough decisions and stands by them.

If he sheds tears at a ceremony for a man killed because of his orders--perhaps the president was thinking of all the other death and pain that has happened for the sake of this nation, again, on his order--well I think that makes him a human being. And a more authentic, feeling human being than Clinton ever was/is.

Deserves a repeat: He deserves much more from his country than what he is getting. God Bless this man! He needs our prayers now more than ever.

Under what rock did the detractors on this thread slither from?

Who gives a sh-- if they do!....that is the difference between us and them....

EXACTLY! It is because we, represented by the president, value human life. They do not.

"War leaders don't cry. Period."

Real men, strong, compassionite men, aren't ashamed to show emotion. Phoney "macho" men don't show me a thing. Morons.

The President is a real man with real feelings for his fellow Americans and his country. I believe that is a tear of pride for a fallen hero. Some men aren't man enough to show their emotions in public.

After all "Jesus Wept."
