I've been feeling sad for him the past couple of days.

I've been feeling that way for a while too, but I saw a good interview with his dad a while back and he put things back into perspective for me. He did a good job (for me) of putting petty politics sort of in it's proper perspective and making it clear that this stuff is "expected" and not taken to heart too much.

I on the other hand would have gone postal on the MSM long ago.

It's not ALMOST with me....I ALWAYS admire him. He and his father are my heroes.....God Bless American! (I live in absolute fear of Hitlery being elected President of the United States....I guess if that happens I will do what I did for the 8 years that Bubba was it....hit the mute button every time that slime comes on the air!)

I'll tell you something.

Bush isn't flawless. At all. I wish he did a few things differently. Quite a few.

But I agree that a lot of people are alive today because he had the desire to fight terrorism on it's own soil.

And I believe he truly believes in what he does.

I really can't understand those who hate him. But hatred often says more about the hater than the hated.

I lift President Bush often in prayer.

I suspect one day in the not too distant future when some American city is a smoking hunk of atomic sludge, folks will look fondly back on his administration and wonder why they so blindly believed the lies of the democrats!
And they the "profiling" issues and other PC will go out the window.

The Ron Brown funeral. The other guy was the minister Tony Campolo. What bothered me about that wasn't so much that they were laughing. I'm sure they were reminiscing about what a fun guy Brown was. Nothing at all wrong with that. What bothered me is that Bubba felt the need to fake like he was crying the minute he realized he was on camera. What a piece of work.

Ron Brown's body wasn't cold yet in his grave,
Bubba goes laughing on.

Who's that walking beside Clinton? Is that Sandy Berger?

In the hip hop culture, media idols; Paris Hilton, Rosie O'Donnell, Donald Trump, and Bill and Hill era, a national leader who cares about real people is a throwback. My God man, care about me, and what gets me ahead, right now. Sentiment? Save that for losers.

Possibly Clinton was remembering what a fun guy Brown was. Or he was happy that everyone was buying the story that the plane crash was an accident.

There was a piece in the Reader's Digest recently about the death of Marilyn Monroe. Shortly after getting the news of her death, Bobby Kennedy and friends were making jokes about it. (Joe DiMaggio reportedly was always convinced that the Kennedys were behind her death.)
