How can CNN say that, they've shown our soldiers getting killed on TV, death counts every five minutes, quagmire, failure, poor killed Iraqis (so what if they came from Iran and killed our soldiers), i'm sure they've informed them of 'the dangers of the military' by now. Guess it's just not enough for them.

It's a new year, time for a past due crackdown on the MSM.

You know I hate to say this but the report can be accurate. My recruiter told my parents that by signing an early enlistment contract that I could take the test ASVAB. But the contract actually allowed me at 17 to sign an enlistment contract on my own.

Of course I had no problem with that because I was going in the Army no matter what. :)

Recruiters are in fact heavily pressured to reach their recruiting goals and some will stretch the truth. But there is never any official pressure to do so.

I don't doubt at all the intentions of CNN in running that segment right now.

Remember, the week or so right up to the election in November, they ran a series nightly about the "Broken Government"...which is an OPINION not a fact...but, I betcha it swayed some ignorant viewers that tend to watch CNN!!

How they can get away with that is beyond me...and then of course showing the snuff videos of our troops and now this.

I do think we can offically name them the Anti-Military Station...and MSNBC the BDS NETWORK.

I don't know if I'd be too willing to pummle CNN over this.

I'm not in the military, but I come from a family that has a lot of military people in it's past (father, both grandfathers, 2 cousins, etc.) ALL OF THEM say that military recruiters lie their ass off.

I don't think that makes the military evil or anything, I just think it makes the recruiters like used car salesmen. You can get a good used car, you just have to know how to interpret what the salesmen tell you.
