if it was a revenge style execution that you wanted - then saddam should have been tossed out of a humvee in sadr city the day after he was captured, to be taken out like Mussolini.

the point is - a legitimate GOVERNMENT was supposed to be executing him, not some revenge driven mob. the tape doesn't play that way - and its too bad, his trial was actually handled very well - then this.

If you read my posts you notice that I said that Sadr and his militia must be destroyed. My point in this whole issue that you have yelling about Saddam being mocked by Shia witness or guard as something that will make the Sunnis angrier, and I am telling you that you wrong. The Sunnis are not going to angrier because of this, they are angry regardless.

The solution is to launch a large offensive against both the Shia and Sunni terrorist in Iraq and stabilize Baghdad and its surrounding as well as the Anbar province. The rest of Iraq is doing fine.
