Pope: Homosexuals destroy themselves

Pope Benedict XVI (Vatican photo)

In his most powerful statements to date on issues involving sexual morality, Pope Benedict XVI said homosexuals end up destroying themselves so the Church has a duty to speak out on moral issues that affect the very spiritual and physical lives of man.

"In seeking to emancipate himself from his body (from the 'biological sphere'), [man] ends up by destroying himself," the pope told cardinals, archbishops, bishops and members of the Roman Curia last week in a traditional meeting overlooked by most of the world's press. "Against those who say that 'the Church should not involve herself in these matters,' we can only respond: does man not concern us too? The church and believers must raise their voices to defend man, the creature who, in the inseparable unity of body and spirit, is the image of God."

The pope also lamented low birth rates in Europe, saying couples no longer seem to want children. This fact, he said, has "penetrated my soul."

"Men and women today are unsure about the future," he explained. "This fact, alongside the desire to have all of life to themselves, is perhaps the most profound reason for which the risk of having children appears to many as almost unbearable. ... If we do not relearn the basic foundations of life – if we do not rediscover the certainty of faith – it will also be ever more difficult for us to give others the gift of life and the challenges of an unknown future."

The pope also referred to the controversy over same-sex marriage.

"At this point, I cannot fail to mention my concern over 'de facto' couples," he said. "When new legislation is created that relativizes marriage, the rejection of the definitive bond gains, so to speak, juridical endorsement. Relativizing the difference between the sexes ... tacitly confirms those bleak theories which seek to remove all relevance from a human being's masculinity or femininity, as if this were a purely biological matter."

I have said for years -- to friends and more than a few radio audiences -- that the homosexual community wants the legal right to perform in public acts for which a heterosexual couple would -- and should -- be arrested for indecency. If you've ever seen the images of how the queers in Frisco and New Orleans behave during their periodic "celebrations" of their "deathstyle," it has already happened there. The next two years will give the Nancy Pelosi crowd a chance to federalize their deathstyle.

I really don't care HOW they got to where they are -- recruited or via genetic predisposition -- in their genatalia worship (and that's what it is), I just don't want them demonstrating their explicit sexual behavior in front of our kids and grandkids. ADULT homosexuals have the same right as the rest of us to do nearly whatever they wish IN THE BEDROOM, where it belongs.

Why do I call it a "deathstyle?" For over 20 years, my wife was a member of a well-known ladies chorus. One of their first directors was a gifted musician who also happened to be openly homosexual. He died a slow, agonizing death -- at age 43 -- of AIDS. How “gay” could THAT be? Most homosexuals -- many of whom have as many as several hundred unprotected encounters a year -- ARE dead at an early age of HIV infections which explains why there are so few OLD homosexuals. And even that “protection” ain’t. With even the condom manufacturers admitting to a 20% failure rate, it’s akin to playing Russian roulette with your willie.

Bill Clinton's CDC released figures a few years ago reflecting that fully 85% of all AIDS/HIV cases are
1. Active, non-monogamous homosexuals, (the largest subset)
2. Heterosexuals and bisexuals who have had sex with group 1 and
3. IV drug abusers who share needles.
(Kinda gives new meaning to Romans 6:23, doesn't it?)
The remaining 15% are those who have contracted AIDS via other, non-sexual/non-drug means SUCH AS TRANSFUSIONS OF TAINTED BLOOD (which one homosexual "leader" on the West Coast URGED his fellow homosexuals to CONTINUE to attempt to contaminate in order to involve the straight community in the push to increase federal funding for AIDS research).

What a guy -- er -- GAY!

An excellent statement by His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI. He is a man of courage, integrity, and strong values as deposited by our Roman Catholic faith.
Please pray for him as attacks mount against him from many quarters.

If the Roman Catholic church is serious about homosexuals and destruction, there needs to be a cleansing of the clergy.

Roman Catholic parishioners, it has got to start with you. Be loud, be consistent and take back the Church from Satan and his followers. Make no mistake - they are followers of Satan.

I don't read anywhere the Pope mentioning homosexuals explictly. Certainly, homosexual behavior should be included in those destructive behaviors which seek to emancipate man from his body, but also, all promiscuous sex and pervesions, pornography, drug abuse, extreme physiculturism, and artificial contraception, all deserve equal mention.

I think the headline was meant to hype a one-sided interpretation of the speech, which the Pope may have intended to include many other destructive behaviors, along with homosexual practice.

"Men and women today are unsure about the future," he explained.

So hackneyed a view.

There are men of vision in the world. They are very sure about the future, because they own it.
