The good news I want to hear from Duke university is that its President and 88 professors have been censured or fired.

All 47 men on the team—many of whom weren’t even at the party where the alleged attack occurred—had worked their entire lives to earn a spot in a national championship contending program. It is no small thing to play on a team like that. That’s years of fall ball seasons, three-hour practices, backyard training sessions, weight-lifting, parental support and money spent, all gone in a fizzle at the whim of a spineless college president.

Unfortunatley he's like just about every other college President. The few that do try and stand up top the PC nonsense get their heads handed to them - ask Larry Summers.

If I were any athlete, I'd be waving goodbye to duke and it's faculty with one finger. Screw the rest of the athletic programs when the school has no compunction about treating students in the manner it did.

I am actually praying to God that the entire team sue the pants off that "Piece of crap" Duke President and Nifong and all those other involved in guilty before a trial.

Those 80 Duke professors (are they the only ones who call themselves professors?) need to be fired and sued immediately. And for certain do not leave out the Pink Panther bunch. Nor the Jessey and Sharpton rip off wonders.

The fact that this was SO obvious from the beginning has "frosted" me -- like the one attorney that they use so much on Fox who is a defense attorney, but who could never get over the fact that he thought(personally) that something had to have happened and the victim could never had lied about so much, even when the three other attorneys (who were prosecutors, and ethnically pale) were saying Nifong was a low down jerk.

The fact that the victim is a cheap climber and out to get whatever she could get from those boys was obvious from the beginning. As was the fact that Nifong was playing to his constituency (ethnically, much darker in complexion).

I'm stating the obvious, but have been frustrated since the Duke fellows had this "party" and all of the garbage started to stagnate out.

Ah yes. Well, you see, we are reliably informed by the various Departments of Women's Studies and other of similar ilk, that women are quite simply incapable of lying about the subject of rape and sexual harrassment. Such hate crimes are so horrendous and so vile that the mere allegation is sufficient for comdemnation, conviction, and punishment.

Duke went over the hill when they got that big infusion of money and decided they wanted to compete with Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. The symptom of that was putting Stanley Fish in charge of the English Department.

Finally they fired Fish because things were in complete turmoil, but instead of fixing it they managed to put a committee in charge that hired a bunch of people who made things even worse.

The English department was the most notorious, but pretty much everything else went to the dogs, too. It seems as if every formerly respectable college in the country is rushing to see who can climb further down the sewer first.

and sued jointly and severably...they should all be held accountable for complicity in destroying innocent students...if the students had been black...the president/faculty/university would have supported them to the end!!!!
