I'm asking a real question--he put victims in a freaking shredder?

Yes.

Thanks for this post, Laz. His cruelty was really hard to fathom.

Have you seen this? I don't think had many supporters in Kuwait.
Kuwait's "Not to Forget Museum". It's at:

Hey thanks. I just woke up and the first thing I did was turn on Fox, and lo and behold they were showing the poor man's (/s) demise.

That's the first thing I did this morning also. But I had to laugh at the side-by-side photos captioned "alive" and "dead". Do they think we couldn't tell the difference?

No they didn't, and for the life of me, I see no good reason why they couldn't have publicized what a monster Saddam was. There have been some reasons put forth about why the might not have told more about the WMD, but even there, I think their silence has done more harm than good.

Quite right. One may argue against the death penalty, but but it is unquestionable that Saddam deserved the worst that the court could give him.

I'm surprised to see that there are some here who didn't know about the shredders. Thanks for the reminder.

Days later bump for your excellent way of making a horrible point on the hanging threads. Is it so difficult to understand why attendees at his hanging would be taunting him in anger? (NO)

May the world never forget, never be allowed to forget what a horrible a monster saddam was, with the mass graves and poor dead babies and terror.

I do hope and pray that the people of Iraq may realize peace at last.
