Scary isn't it?
It's horrifying. George Tiller boasts of killing full-term babies. He photographs them in baby clothes. He has some of them baptized! Then he burns their corpses in his backyard incinerator. And we have FReepers who defend what he does because they are into "personal liberty" or some such nonsense.
Most of the judiciary has lined up in support of the abortion right. I gather this is because the elites of our society want it. Al conservative judges can do is to whittle it away. The only way the people can control this is through continued pressure on the system. More and more the analogy of slavery seems to fit. If a system benfits the powerful, then the democracy can only protest until the powerful perceive it is not worth defending.
