He's the closest thing to a real conservative... put me on your list.
"President Duncan Hunter"
None would be more pleased then I.
But in Georgia nobody asked "Jimmy who?"
In California people do ask "Duncan who?"
That's the difference between Governors and congress people.
I don't like it. It is just political reality.
I PRAY you are right!!
OK, I'm in on the donation and I'm in on the volunteer list. Now I'm gonna try and get bumper stickers to get him some name recognition in Massachusetts, RI, CT and NH where I often travel. :-}
In the information age with all the tools and media outlets that are available, there is no way...it is already over before it begins.

We need to keep the momentum moving forward for Duncan Hunter.
Duncan Hunter in 2008
Add me to the ping list please.
Nope.
Saying if he pulls it off it will break a historical trend that has lasted over a hundred years. You have to have respect for that kind of history. Bush's father bucked the trend, VPs were not big winners of the white house either.
This is what primaries are for, to see who has the charisma, money, media presence, grass roots, all those things. Is there any wonder in this day and age why it almost always is Senators and Governors that have already built that record and base to launch from?
Hunter has jumped ahead several seemingly necessary steps in the modern age and crossed his fingers.
"Hunter has jumped ahead several seemingly necessary steps in the modern age and crossed his fingers."

Any relation to that other Chuck Yeager?
No one in the South regards Edwards as a Southerner.
But Clinton wasn't an unknown in the Democrat Party. He was a leader of the DLC and gave the keynote address in 1988.
Guess I wasn't interested.
Who is interested in the Democrat Convention besides hardcore Demonrats?
"But Clinton wasn't an unknown in the Democrat Party. He was a leader of the DLC and gave the keynote address in 1988."
A southern Governor posing as a moderate.
That is my biggest fear is the dems finally see this pattern and stop putting up liberal Senators.
