This news article piqued my interest about the Dec. 2004 tsunami and I came across this disturbing news story:

Too bad the victim didn't say whether her attacker was a muslim (or not) but it does make you wonder.

That offender probably wasn't a Muslim, given the locale.

After a cataclysm like the 2004 tsunami, everything can break down.
There were reports of pedophiles (maybe from as far away as Europe)
trolling the affected areas for children that were obviously not
being looked after.

Events like that (and Katrina in New Orleans) remind me to always
at least keep a shotgun around the house.
In the remote possibility that all hell breaks loose and the cops
are nowhere to be found.
