The MSM have been basking in their glorious victory this past election cycle. Their hand-wringing reaction to Johnson's illness is glaring proof of their liberal position.

Here in Washington DC the media is quick to point out that there is no constitutional provision for the removal of a senator in the case of his or her inability to serve. On the way in this morning I heard stories of senators who were unable to speak, were seriously ill, or otherwise incapacitated, and they still held their seats.

I hope the senator recovers, and my prayers for his family, but I doubt that, unless he actually dies, the Democrats will never declare his seat vacant.
