Perhaps she should focus less on President Bush's ratings and more on her on.

LOL, it's pretty pathetic when you're rated lower than Ken Berry.

Ah the mighty couric is falling- that's what happens when you continually stab people in the back- it catches up with you- backstabbing your way to the top is an artificial way to gain fame and will soon enough deflat leaving the person guillibly wondering 'what went wrong'? http://sacredscoop.com

Is her salary contract guaranteed? Or do they only have to pay her for the calendar year in which she is terminated?

Maybe Katie should buy a gray wig and a shawl?

Last night I caught a brief glimpse of her talking to some woman. She had the most ridiculous apricot lighting seen on TV since the Leona Helmsley interview. Do they think we're blind or just stupid? Being photographed through a Navajo saddle pad might make her feel pretty, but it just makes the audience feel insulted.

Aahaha - I guess that's a test look they missed in this month's Vanity Fair (saw it at the dentists) - they scathe her for her "smart look" (glasses), "tv mom look" (twin set sweaters), guess the Mama's Family adaptation can't be far behind.

Sakes, could it be the viewers want substance?

Well, she can climb to the top by having Hillary and Obama on EVERY night! The celebrity watchers will tune in to see their "heroes".

Taking a page from Shirley MacLean with the black nylon filter to "soften the edges".

That's a thought. Heck, I think I'd watch CBS Evening News if they had Vicki Lawrence as "Mama" delivering the news, including any editorial statements.....
