Yes, it's sad, from a temporal perspective. But to see the wonderful things going on in their lives that are result of this illness give great reason for praising God. Read her perspective on it on her blog. I don't think that I would not be in the same place as she is if it were happening to me.

I don't know. I'll ask her. She's been tested and treated for just about everything, but you never know. Thanks.

Has she had any immunizations recently? My wife is suffering from what was initially diagnosed as RA, but putting 2 and 2 together shows that it is connected to a series of Hepatitis B vaccinations she had. Knowing this won't help, but it's something to look at - there is a fund set up to cover the costs related to treating people harmed by vaccinations.
