President Bush and Prime Minister Malaki are scheduled to hold a joint press conference at approximately 9:30 a.m. Jordan time (2:30 a.m. EST, 11:30 p.m. PST)
The U.S. and Iraqi reporters will be allowed to ask only two questions each. No follow-up questions allowed.
The press conference follows a breakfast meeting between Bush and Malaki. That would be a bilat, for those following along back home.

I was just driving around all night listening to NPR repeat that Malaki backed out of meeting with Bush, claiming he didn't want a 3rd party present. I was mad a hell!
Now I read there's a joint press confernece in a couple of hours? Looks like NPR is full of crap.

Know who's gonna cover it?
To: GoLightly
IM betting FOX news will cover it live....which may be comical as hell, considering the people that FOX news has covering the "After midnight" desk ;-)
To: kristinn
Do you think that Malaki's delay was a stunt to collect favor with the Iraqi UI's (useful idiots), or perhaps a wink to Iran in case we pull out on them?
