"There's really no excuse for what Richards did at all."
Yes. There is. If black comedians use the N word, then so can everybody. It's an ugly word and nobody should say it. But if it's OK for some, then it's OK for all.

Gloria Allred is on Hannity now with the maroons who want to 'not sue' him.
BTW, they want to sit down w/ a judge and have a judge determine punishment.

I bet the real reason he wants to boycott Seinfeld is the fact that it is set in Hymietown.

I started watching Seinfeld in it's third season. Now, like all of you, I watch the re-runs whenever I can. I find them even funnier the more I watch them and consider it the best Sitcom ever done. And, the comedy is ageless. It will still be funny twenty years from now.
I never watched Taxi during it's regular run and began watching re-runs and realized that it too has timeless comedy in every episode as does the Honeymooners and M*A*S*H. Well written and acted comedy lasts a long time.
I think Michael Richards crossed so many lines last week in the comedy club it had to take him to another world. I feel he lost his temper and wanted to strike out at the jerks heckling him and hurt them as much as possible. He sure as hell didn't think of the consequences and is paying for it tenfold. Because of the times, it's now become a major news story that has jimmy legs and isn't going away soon.
So, if the networks decide to pull the series, that'll be a shame. Hold on to your Seinfeld show CD's. They may fetch a premium on eBay one day but I won't sell mine.

Your Frank Burns post reminded me of my favorite MASH line.
So, even though I am not a tagline guy, I am adding one today.

I have little interest in the 'N' word. It is not relevant to me. However, if I hear anyone on the Seinfeld cast start ranting about the GOY, Gringo, or Crackers? That does it for me.....

Jesse Jackson is vying for "Con Man of the Century" award...and is certainly the front-runner!

Jesse Jackson is a lazy, unproductive, immoral, lying, trash-talking person. I wish there was a one-word description for that sort of person, but I can't imagine what it would be. I know what it is... but I can't say the word. It's banned. Only black people can call eachother it.
