Kosovo Police: Incident In Veliko Ropotovo Not Ethnically Motivated

Pristina, 22 Nov 06 (RTS) – Kosovo police announced that the incident in the school “Trajko Peric”, in Veliko Ropotovo, near Kamenica, was not ethnically motivated.

The police announcement claims that the explosion of the bomb in this school “is a reflection of the current situation in this school, which is a result of the election of a new director”. The announcement claims that the police reached this conclusion based on the investigation and the statements it took from witnesses.

The investigation was conducted by municipal investigative institutions from Gnjilane, in cooperation with members of American KFOR, and Kosovo Police service crime technical investigators.
