I can believe Hume reads FR. I would guess Tony Snow continues to lurk here as well. If nothing else, FR provides these guys with a pulse of grass roots activists they don't hear from the MSM.Tony's account is still active, though he doesn't post and all of his old posts have been pulled. I still ping him on some items in case he still checks in. I would actually bet that he and Brit, along with lots of other folks, have interns or aids who get the duty to browse through FR (and DU and other places) from time to time. I'd bet they also have keyword bots running against us and a lot of sites looking for specific topics and references.

Allen acted scared and defensive, their is only one way to deal with the msm, go on the offensive. Then they will leave you alone. They know they are always more guilty than most they investigate or demean.

Robert Reich is on Steffie's roundtable. They have him on a phone book. I wish I could see how far his feet were off the floor.

The main reason I am sure is because they have the non cable/satellite audience but I do not know how new media can break into that market.

Agreed. Nor would it surprise me if Snow was reading posts himself and not passing them on to staffers. I doubt Tony would post or respond because of his position but I think FR was high on his list of places to read and learn.
No other source, compared to FR, has thousands of people around the world posting links to articles and information that we do here.

Kerry was simply amazing but Wallace continued to lead.

Steffie's roundtable proving my earlier thesis...the media has decided that success is not possible in Iraq and it is their job now to get us out. They have decided.

After thought the poster agreed that this indeed was a factor that these newcomers are dems and in areas that are sparsely populated this will have a dramatic affect on the vote. Many Dems I know are not the flaming loons like Cindy Sheehan ... they are more like the JFK or RFK democrats
When you really talk to them .. they don't like socialism .. they don't like paying higher taxes and the don't Hellarycare for THEMSELVES
They consider the Government like a charity to help the "poor people"
They don't realize what happens when they keep voting in dems .. because when things get bad .. they just move to a different place .. they move on and don't realize the mess they left behind
For example .. a few years back I had a conversation with my dem sister and her husband .. I tried and tried to get them to understand
Finally I asked them why they left Philly .. a city that has been controlled my Dems for many many years
Their answer was .. the school system was corrupt and lousy, the crime was higher, the taxes were too high and the jobs were leaving to the burbs
Though they did eventually see my point .. they still vote dems into office .. who are doing the exact same thing they did to Philly
So .. how do we fix this and correct it?? ... I really don't know

Illegal immigration is the Dem's Achilles heel.It was the ticket to win on in 2006... it'll still be here for 2008 but the 'chump party' still hasn't figgered' out how to use it.

Newt's interview with Wallace just ended in my time zone. I am convinced that Gingrich sees the Pub's situation at present better than anyone I have yet to hear. His appreciation of the problems facing those working for a return to majority status in the Congress are indicative of a brilliant observer and proof that his leadership back into majority status in '94 was no fluke. I'm looking at him in an increasingly better light for '08.

You and I are on the exact same wave length! I have seen this video several times and it is a must see for everyone who is hesitant about what is really going on with uncontrolled immigration. It will destroy the country, it's just a matter of how long it takes.
The next question that remains to be answered is will big govt. go after "wayward" cities who want to preserve their way of life.
If govt. interferes in small cities trying to zone or regulate the illegals out of town, there may be a huge backlash.
We may see in a few years some cities that are free of illegals and others that are ruled by them where the entire character has changed such as LA or Miami.
Some have thought that this is how Hillary could possibly get that missing 4-5% she lacks from a win.
If she were to run on a platform of stopping illegal immigration(even though we all know she would not) she might get the same voters who kicked us out to put her in,and then we would be doomed.
