Republican Rep. Heather Wilson retained her seat Friday, narrowly winning a fifth term in Congress by defeating Democrat Patricia Madrid and overcoming election-season sentiment that battered GOP incumbents nationwide.
Wilson won New Mexico's 1st Congressional District after Bernalillo County Clerk Mary Herrera released the county's final unofficial count Friday night.
The final unofficial tally was 105,916 votes for Wilson, and 105,037 for Madrid. That gave Wilson a winning margin of 879 votes — with roughly 211,000 ballots cast in the race.
''The people of New Mexico have asked me to continue to represent them in the Congress,'' Wilson said Friday night. ''I am humbled by that trust, and I will work every day to continue to earn it.''

Wilson's the one. There are 24 Senators today over the age of 70. That's too many. The Mountain West region had Democrat gains, including Montama where Conrad Burns is 72. Remembet Senator Roth? I'm saying that the old timers can appear feeble under the wrong circumstances. If we don't take chances we will never win. Playing it safe got us to lose both houses. Jim Bunning is 77 and Anne Northrup could probably win Statewide in Ky. More women? Try Candace Miller in Mich against that ugly old guy Levin. More women will help-just no 2-baggers please.

Madrid was a pretty pathetic candidate. Even some Dems complained had bad she was although they pulled the lever because they hated Bush and the war worse. Though Madrid was Attorney General, she had baggage (corruption charges) and no persona or political skills. The debate ad between Wilson and Madrid is a classic:

In a single break, I counted five ads -- and four of them were anti-Wilson. Some of the nastiest, most vitriolic partisan political ads I've ever seen.
Patricia Madrid and the Democrats should be ashamed of themselves. But, being Democrats, they won't, of course.
How did she get to become AG, I wonder.
As for the Michigan race, there's a real possibility that Carl Levin will retire. If that does happen, there could be a race between Jennifer Granholm and Candace Miller.

Not that surprising when you consider that at least 1/2 of the population now gets a monthly check from one government entity or another. Conclusion...we are past the point of no return.
The post I'm responding to had a phrase--"beyond the point of no return." That reminded me of the emails prophetic docs I've posted below. I confess that I don't know if these are more accurate than a lot of others, or not. JockoManning knows RJ and affirms that RJ is an authentic super Christian in her humility and devotion to The Lord. And Ras is well respected around the world.
Perhaps more . . . attention getting to me, These words, impressionis, msgs are extremely congruent with my own sense after the election. I was and remain utterly convined that the election was another test. A huge percentage of liberals et al flunked the test. Perhaps some others did, as well. Will this mean a line in the sand has been crossed? Has a trip-wire been tripped? I think so. It remains to be seen for sure. But I think so.
However, I would DEARLY LIKE ALL who are spiritually sensitive after the guidance and leading of Holy Spirit--to prayerfully ponder the below and let us all know if they have any sense of confirmation and/or any of their own impressions along the lines of January, the Democrats etc. which would be even partially confirming of the below.
I have long been wondering what it would take for a wake-up call to be brought forward to the present for the millions of clueless in our land and in our churches. Will this be the time? There was a doc a year ago that said it would come in Jan 2006 OR Jan 2007. We shall see. Certainly the brain dead, asleep, clueless globalist Commie idiots need AT LEAST a wake-up call. And those who think they are merely annoying evidently also need a wake-up call. Times are a changin'. And, if my gut is any clue at all . . . may have already changed unalterably.

Another confirmation that come January . . . as one doc/source had it--when the Dems take formal power in Congress--God will begin a series of . . . overwhelming 'lessons' that they will not be able to cope with. Not surprising to me, Quix. I've received prophecies for quite a while that say essentially the same thing. Time to really watch and pray. Something may also happen in June that will concern Israel and the world backing her because of it. Will they or won't they. I think it has to do with Iran.

There's lots of 'wiggle room' . . . as in . . . fuzziness . . . vis a vis end times events that leave God The General plenty of maneuvering room to snooker the enemy right and left and upside down and inside out . . . like He did at Calvary and Resurrection Morning.
I expect we shall begin to see some of that.
Though I am skeptical that Christians who think it's going to be a ticker tape parade between now and judgment . . . I'm skeptical they have construed it very accurately at all.

Thanks for your kind post. Will see how much confirmation comes in. And, of course, will see what happens. But there does seem to have been some sort and level of sea change in the spiritual realm the last month or so.
That has troubled me since about 1964 when Kennedy ws voted in and Life magazine was so gah gah about him. I realized then that our land was plagued with socialists and communists. I graduated from High School in 1965.
I mean 1960 he was voted in . . . I think. LOL. Way back THEN!
