Seems like you were the kid who was ridiculed/beaten up and still haven't gotten over it.
beaten up, on occasion, but not often. I grew up in a worn out mining town. You learned how to fight a lot. Sometimes you won and sometime you lost but you had to always be willing to throw down our you were going to get stomped.
