Here is another tidbit of information that has also been conveniently overlooked by our one party media.
From Wikipedia glowing entry on our hero:
Harry Reid
Harry Mason Reid (born December 2, 1939) is the senior United States Senator from Nevada and a member of the Democratic Party, for which he presently serves as Senate Minority Leader. He will become the first Mormon Senate Majority Leader in 2007, after the Democrats won control of the United States Senate in the 2006 Congressional Elections.
Early life, education, and career
Reid is a converted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is a native of the small mining town of Searchlight, Nevada, where his nickname since childhood was “Pinky.”…
"Pinky" Reid. How absolutely fitting. And yet how funny that this never came up before.
Maybe his fellow inmates will call him "Pinky" in the big house.
(And I don't mean the Senate.)

You sure they didn't mean "Pinko"?
BTW, this is the first I've heard that he's a Mormon. That sure has been kept quiet. How come it's such a "controversy" for Romney, but the media hasn't said a peep about Harry being LDS?

I said the very exact thing when I saw that in the Wikipedia entry.

The fact that "Pinky" is a Morman has not been kept out of the press, just that it has not been out front. Mitt Romney on the other hand has his status in the LDS posted repeatedly as a defining factor of his personality and political makeup.

Seems appropriate. On the net, pinky rats go for about a dollar apiece. So Harry is a bit overpriced.
About that Morman thing -
