Banning BB Guns
NRA News ^ | 11/13/2006 | Wayne LaPierre

You might think that Massachusetts can't become any more anti-gun.

Well, think again. Now there's a proposal to ban BB guns in Massachusetts. Complete with a BB gun amnesty period. And a BB gun buyback program.

Millions of kids have grown up with BB and pellet guns. I don't know of any that were turned into criminals by their Daisy Red Ryder BB gun.

But that doesn't matter to the politicians in Massachusetts. They think BB guns are bad, and they want them outlawed.

Said Ted Kennedy and John Kerry to the youth of Massachusetts...

There is an alternative: they can mandate one of them orange thingies on the end, that will assure everybody that they are not real guns; right after they close all BB factories of course.

When I was 10, I would ride my motorcycle down the street, my .22 slung over my shoulder, and a thousand rounds in my bag - in Masachusetts.

Damn, i miss the good old days.

Paint ball rifles are still okay though? You could use projectiles other than paint balls in those that could do much more damage than a BB.

The gun in this womans hand will be the next to be outlawed in Mass:

I read a few years ago (dont have any links tho), that in one Mass school district, a kid squirted a water pistol at another kid. Kid #2 pulled out a pistol and shot kid #1, dead.

How did the school authorities react? THEY BANNED WATER PISTOLS!!!

Wish I could find the link.

I don't understand why Massachusetts doesn't ban cars from driving off of bridges into the water - that's been PROVEN to be fatal....
