WASHINGTON – While future House Speaker Nancy Pelosi insisted before the election she would not support impeachment hearings, she will actually be rejecting her constituency's demands if she stays true to that campaign promise.

In fact, on Election Day, Pelosi herself had a chance to vote for the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Cheney in San Francisco.

On the ballot last Tuesday in San Francisco was Proposition J calling for the impeachment of Bush and Cheney. It passed with more than 59 percent of the vote. In neighboring Berkeley, a similar measure passed with nearly 70 percent of the vote.

The crowd in response to Herrod's question shouted," Crucify Him, Crucify Him!"

Pelosi doesn't dare, for it would almost assure a Dem defeat in 2008, but who knows, maybe the Dems will attempt impeachment. I would love to see it!

On the ballot last Tuesday in San Francisco was Proposition J calling for the impeachment of Bush and Cheney.

Did the Proposition specify what they're to be impeached for, or are we all just supposed to know?

They've been salivating over this far too long--I don't see how they can resist.

If she does, the "Bush lied" propaganda would be dead in the water no matter what planet you live on.

Besides, she doesn't have the votes unless Republicans voted with her ( that is if the US hasn't been nuked by emboldened radical terrorists by then.)

Yes, please, do it. Go for it. I sincerely hope they make a real effort for impeachment. The sooner we have total political turmoil, the better.

Pelosi's constituents are Marxists. At best. If this country listens to them, we really are doomed.

If San Fransicko and Bezerkly can pass a resolution to impeach a president, why can't the rest of the country pass a resolution declaring them to be foreign occupation forces on U.S. terriroty and, as such, any votes recorded therefrom shall hanceforth be declared null and void?

They can then be put under martial law and have congress refuse to seat their elected representatives until they have completed a process of reconstruction, like the South after the Civil War.

You know that might not be so bad.

If they impeach Bush and Cheney, Pelosi becomes Presidnet.

After two years of Pelosi, and the certain cat-fight between her and Hillery for the nomination in 2008, it will be a shoe in for us.

Hehehehe....it's been less than a week and the natives are already restless. My dinner guests and I were just discussing how Mizzzzz Pelosi is going to have to hide her mohawk and nipple rings now that she's the HMFIC.

A quote here.

".....it is to be hoped that the remedy of impeachment,as established by the Constitution, may be as patriotically,as fearlessly, and as unselfishly applied as it was on this occasion rejected".

Edmund Gibson Ross (Kansas) (1826-1907).

This man was the last man to vote on the impeachment of Andrew Johnson. US President (1865) He was threatened with vile murmurings, also political ruin. The radicals had 35 votes against 18, they needed just one vote for a two thirds majority. He voted no. Johnson still stood as President.

He was saying that, in future it need people who would be described as patriotic, fearless and unselfish. These could then judge a President.

None of my business but does this describe Nancy,Harry and their friends?
