'Mish' Shedlock -Econ. Downturn- website Financial pundit and economic analyst, 'Mish' Shedlock will discuss the second wave of the current housing collapse and how it will usher in a rise in bankruptcies and unemployment nationwide.
Let me be first - PELOSI'S FAULT!!
Oh great...as if I haven't had a bad enough 24 hrs. Time to get out the gun cleaning music.
Coast to Coast Ping
I was going to say that!
Mish has a good blog. Saw his name and had to say this. I have read it often. Great guest (though I have to wait till 1am)
Hmmmmm....if it's on Coast to Coast they'll have to blame the housing bubble burst on the fangs of El Chupacabra.
Thinking just of myself, I wouldn't mind a housing crash...property values are ridiculous in the Bay Area and Washington DC, to say nothing of elsewhere in the country. Not only would a crash make a home more affordable for me, it would cut property tax outlays for people with homes already.
Thanks for the *ping*!

I think someone did that already...in post #2 above!

If Bush can be blamed for Clinton's stock market crash, which started in spring 2000 immediately after the Justice Department rolled out its partisan prosecution (persecution) of Microsoft Corporation.
The market free-fell. A couple hundred points that week. And kept right on falling.
But that lousy stock market in 2001 when Bush took office? "Bush's fault". Natch.
See how that works? So we can start blaming Pe-lousy right now. For EVERYTHING.
was this bubble caused by UFO's ? or is it the result of a remote viewing anomoly
George Norry / Art Bell are major libs. Perhaps the only libs that have a successful radio program. On re=read, delete the "perhaps".
oh jeepers...wonder what would happen to the housing market if moms stayed home....
"Hi. I'm Nancy Chupacabra. I'm here to burst the housing bubble."
Art Bell is a libertarian. He's no liberal.
And I'll be jobless (I work in mortgages)
actually, the possibility of this becomes even less - in either fact or reality (and I'm a skeptic of it at all at large, outside regional variances) - simply because the media will no longer berate the economy, etc.. You won't see any more Lou Dobbs specials on the middle class, etc.
