This effort will no doubt be led by Clinton holdovers and target Republicans only.

Nothing new about that. They did that with "ABSCAM" around thirty years ago. Mr. "redeploy to Okinawa" Murtha was named as an unidicted co-conspirator in that sting operation

Sometimes leaks make guilty people do things they wouldn't be inclined to do...like move money around.

It will happen one day after someone from the Judicial is elected to the Executive.

In other words, never.

I hope nobody imagines they are going to go after known traitors, like Teddy Kennedy or Jay Rockefeller.

No, it will be more attacks on conservatives by the clintonoid contingent that still controls the upper ranks of the FBI.

If done with vim and vigor, that could clean out most of those august bodies. [Open the windows afterward, and let the place air out, too. Go for it!]

It's only a possibility but -- election season grandstanding?

Then again, the FBI may have already completed their investigation of one or more congressmen and already have all the evidence they need.

When/if they get to the cesspool that is Capitol Hill, then I'll start to believe that the Feebs are serious about going after public corruption.
