A"Democratic-led judiciary committees would launch oversight hearings on the Justice Department's conduct in the war on terrorism, looking at everything from secret searches and wiretaps to how the FBI treats whistle blowers. Would-be Senate Chairman Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., says he also would hold hearings on abuse of terrorism detainees and on war profiteering."

Vermont used to be one of the most conservative states until progressive, selfish, hippee, prix from MA, NY, CT, NJ...basically "flatlanders," (LOL! I love that!) came up and turned the state into the spitting image of socialist failures.
Patrick Leahy is just another gooselike politician in a state where Howard Dean FORCED Civil Unions on the people who voted against it, and Progressive, SOCIALIST Bernie Sanders would tax every corporation out of existance, and traitor jumpin Jim Jeffords, rino turned his back on the three conservatives left here!!!
Don't let these people do the same thing to this great country like Vermonter's let them come into their good state and do it to them!
BTW, here's what's so ironic about this SOCIALIST TaxYourAssOff state. Other towns besides Killington, now are talking about succeeding from the state because the property taxes are so high. People, progressives alike are starting to complain, especially Professionals!! And in the town of Brattleboro the dumbass selectmen are talking about instituting a Meals/Rooms extra % tax!!

Everybody's saying the Democrats have given up on their anti-gun position. They're running ads around here saying "the Republican candidate opposes a ban on assault weapons. They're just too extreme on guns". Which tells you that Sarah Brady will be in Speaker Pelosi's office the day after the election. Unless we stop them.

I will be voting on Tuesday the minute the polls open. I will be there if we are having snow, driving rain, ice, or an out-right blizzard.
If my car won't start, I will walk. If I am sick, I will wrap up in extra clothing and go.
I will vote if rioting democrats are patrolling the streets; I will simply cut through backyards and alleys and parking lots to get to the polls.
In other words, I am a broken glass Republican, and I WILL VOTE!
