Since my point was that the named individuals were "sticking in a shiv" in Bush, Ledeen qualifies by accusing him of a soft, estrogenized war strategy designed by women who "love him," as opposed to, one presumes, virile take-no-prisoner types like Michael Ledeen. Testosterone-packed Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld somehow don't seem to be part of the Bush team, under the Ledeen scenario.

And Gaffney qualifies for wielding a Bush-shiv by accusing him of incoherence, and, again, for being a softy who can be taken on "with impunity."

Pretty much anything that comes out in the weeks before the election can be seen as a transparent effort to elect the party of surrender and betrayal. If the concerns were genuine they would not be coming out right before the election. These cowards should be treated from this point forward as Democratic Party lackeys.
