This may seem a bit 'obtuse' but IMO Sandra Day O'Connor should be indicted as a Co-Conspirator - to wit:

• When Roe v Wade first came down abortion was 'legal' only during the 1st Trimester
• Through subsequent cases it was always Sandy 'baby' (pun intended) who kept expanding the scope (time) of when abortion was 'legal'.
• And in one fairly recent case it was Sandy who wrote in effect; Abortion is here and even if we were initially wrong in Roe - too bad, it's here to stay as it is now an industry and people depend on it for their livelihood. So reversing Roe would be a financial hardship on them.
• Ergo, in every abortion case that ever hit SCOTUS during her tenure it was SHE who always expanded the scope of abortion.

  What occurred here is the 'natural' end result of her sick 'legal' reasoning.

So I say - indict the 'witch'. If it wasn't for her, late term abortions, especially in the 3rd trimester, would NOT be legal. She is complicit in this murder, period.

Every day I try to forget the blood lust the dems had for making sure Teri Schiavo was put to death. The Dem culture of death.

Not to single you out in the slightest - but I really think that's part of the problem. People don't want to think about the fact that other human beings can become so obsessed with making sure that death happens - I know I don't enjoy being reminded of it, and I overlook it far too many times. And yet, that really just makes me an enabler.

In my younger years, twenties, I bought the notion that women should be free to "choose". I ask God on an almost daily basis for forgiveness for thinking that way. Abortion in all its forms is an abomination.

Like the others, I wonder why they wouldn't be charged with first degree murder. I wonder if some are thinking it would allow the defense to shift focus to abortion instead of the murder that it really was.

Not to make this a Terri thread, but she is the ultimate example of both the direct and indirect culture of death. There were those who believed she was useless to society, a "drain" on resources and needed to be put to death because her husband said so. Then there were those who took a less honest route in calling for her death. They always called for her to be "sent home" and "let go". They claimed to be tired of hearing the story and wished her death so that they wouldn't hear about it any more. I don't know which is worse, being honest in one's calls for death of another, or those who cloak it under the guise of caring. I think the latter, as many invoked God while calling for her starvation.

I overlooked abortion when I was younger because I felt it didn't involve me. I couldn't have been more wrong. We all take our sides in the struggle between good and evil.
