I usually hope that they release this vermin in order to discover their additional contacts, habits, etc. With plots for trains and planes in Germany; it seems apparent that Germany is on the list of AQ target areas. Hmmmmm...and I thought that with Germany, Spain, France, et. al. staying OUT of the Iraq fray that they would be SAFE!!...hmmmmmm.
With Israel's El Al airline having one of the safest airline records..IIRC...seems AQ have some highly ambitious vermin. I don't seem them EVER having the ability to get their murderous plans past El Al security...I pray that I am correct.

To the best of our knowledge there is no connection between the al-Mohajroon forum and the now-banned and allegedly disbanded organization in the UK with which it shares a name. This despite Omar Bakri having relocated to Lebanon in the past year. The name (literally "the immigrants") is a reference to the early followers of Mohammed who migrated with the Prophet from Mecca to Medina. It certainly cannot be ruled out that Bakri and his people may find some way to work the current situation to their advantage. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
5. Lebanon's Sunnis and al-Qaida
Lebanon's Sunni Muslim population is the weakest of all the ethnic/religious groups in the country, not due to lack of numbers, but due to lack of arms. This situation, combined with Hizballah's move to topple the current Lebanese government, and an emerging United States policy in Iraq that will involve a rapid exit from the region and abandonment of previous commitments, all combine to create a situation where on the one hand Lebanon's Sunnis are a people in need of a fighting force, and Sunni jihadis of the al-Qaida variety may be free to move into Lebanon to fill that need. Certainly conditions in Lebanon seem ripe for such a development.

Beijing, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- More than 9,600 Chinese Muslims will travel to Mecca by charter flight at the end of the year and the beginning of next year for the traditional annual pilgrimage.
Yang Zhibo, vice chairman of the Islamic Association of China, said more than 9,600 Chinese Muslims from eight provinces and autonomous regions including Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia, Yunnan, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia and Henan, will make a pilgrimage to Mecca.
"There are more pilgrims going to Mecca this year than at any time in the country's Muslim pilgrimage history," said Yang.
Air China, China Eastern Airlines and China Southern airlines will arrange a total of 31 non-stop charter flights for the pilgrims, he said.
On Nov. 29, the first pilgrimage charter flight will take off from Lanzhou, capital of Gansu Province, and arrive at Medinah, Saudi Arabia, after a flight lasting eight to ten hours. From Dec. 3, charter flights will depart Urumqi, capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, for Medinah.
Charter flights will begin from Beijing and Kunming, capital of Yunnan Province, to Medinah, on Dec. 13.
Chinese Muslim pilgrims will return from the pilgrimage by charter flight from Jan. 5 to 24, 2007.
Chinese Muslims have been making the pilgrimage to Mecca since the Ming Dynasty era (1368-1644).
