As CinC, the president needs to apologize on his behalf. That will make some heads explode.

I certainly hope so...It's time GW takes the gloves off and smack down this POS. Lynne Chaney started the trend last week with Wolfe and she got a tremendous response. It's time to take the Dems on head to head. Better to go down swinging than stand on the sidelines and let the enemy (DEMS and MSM) and make no mistake, they ARE the enemy set the tone and agenda. The people remember GW at that defining moment on 9/11 when he grabbed the bull horn and told it like it was....it is another "bull horn" moment.

It's the October Surprise! Nobody thought it would be from the Democrats though!

There are few things that could be said that would turn the American people against you faster than what Kerry said. Perhaps if he said he thought sex with animals was OK, then that would be a little worse. I don't see that he has any chance for a future Presidential run now. Hehehe!

"the Dems will jump on it and try and make it look like Bush is making a political issue over it."

It is KERRY, who made this political when he issued his non-apology!! He made it political when he said:

"I apologize to no one for my criticism of the President and his broken policy. If anyone owes our troops in the fields an apology it is the President and his failed team."

"My statement yesterday, and the White House knows this full well, was a botched joke about the President and the President's people, not about the troops."

If anything, all Republicans should close ranks around the President.

Wars are lost on defense

When your opponent has just shot himself in the foot sometimes it's best to sit back, let him reload, and then watch him as he blows the sucker clean off. And who can we trust to do that better than John Forbes Kerry?

My letter to Senator Kerry.........
.....................

Senator Kerry,

Your recent comments regarding our military in Iraq were reprehensible and despicable. Your entire political career you have tried to overcome your elitist background. Yet, here you are on a college campus, extolling the value of an education or, "you end up in Iraq". Some may give you the benefit of doubt - I do not. Your post-Vietnam proclamations and activities demand that I take your words on their face. Your steadfast unwillingness to sign the SF-180 forms to open your military records to the public, bears witness that you have something to hide.

You are a fraud Senator. Our gallant people in uniform are heroes. Your disdain for the military is a disgrace - and no level of indignation on your part will change that. Your past, from at least 1971 until now is enough for me to judge.

I pray the American people can see you for what you really are - a conniving, devious and traitorous human being.

And I truly believe this is a drop dead killer for the Dem party.

I hope you are right. Everytime I think Kerry can't get anymore offensive, he does. I hope others, including Dems who support the military, get just as offended and realize what the Dems are up to and what it would mean for the military and for the country if they win the election.

My fellow Americans, yesterday and today, John Kerry, A U.S Senator has insulted our Military and their families. And today he has refused to apologize to those fighting men and women which to me is a complete disgrace to the office he now holds.

That is precisely why this election holds such significant importance to the well being of this Great Country. We have a vagabon group of democrats who see no concern for our Military let alone the security of our Country. If we let this attitude prevail,we will have lost the momentum we now have in Iraq and against the terrorist who harbor ill will to all Americans. Please join me this Tuesday and vote for National Security and the safety of this Country...VOTE REPUBLICAN!

That works for me! If the Dems were smart, they would crawl out of their hiding places and denounce Kerry's comments ASAP.....but they won't.

Normally I would say you are right, but Kerry was the 2004 Dem nominee, and he is going around the country acting like the senior Democratic statesman. He's not some renegade congressman, and can't be dismissed as the village idiot. Now, after the President speaks, all the other Dems in Congress and running for Congress will have to chose sides: "Do they agree with Kerry's remarks?"

FNC just said they're going to cut away to cover POTUS'S speech in Georgia. He made it sound like they're doing this soon.
