Ya know, that just ticks me off....my son was recruited into the Marines in high school because he was extremely intelligent. He aced his AP math and english tests...and is extremely talented in the computer field....now that he is out of the Marines, he is in college making the deans list (time after time) learning about something he loves...computers. My son served honorably for 5 years...not because he was stupid and had no place to go...but because he chose to serve...and in doing so he is able to go to college, now that he is out. I think he made a really wise choice.

Only service that would take me was the Marines. 1982. Scored highest on ASVAB in my state. Would love to go head to head with "JFK" on IQ test. Let alone "Armed Services Vocational Apptitude Battery".
