A million years ago I ran a child care program. One of my darling 5 year old boys took off after another with the biggest wood block hs could find in his hand. We was going to clobber him because, "Jason doesn't think guns are bad," as he said when I restrained him and prevented juvenile felonious assault with a deadly play-toy.
That was a terrific example of early childhood brainwashing. Where would a 5 year old hear that, but for their parents?
I just love parents who deny their sons play guns when little. It's always so perplexing to them that if they just deny GUNS to their kids, they'll never, EVER figure out that pretty much anything can be a weapon, LOL! My sister used to use her Barbie Doll as a gun. Just bend her in half and start firing, LOL!
Having rased three boys that found no end of creative ways to mildly injure one another on a daily basis, I just have to laugh.
