The Veep is right. We underestimate Hitlery at our peril.

Based on my analysis of Presidential races which indicates that the better-looking candidate has always won since the dawn of television, the GOP would have to put up a butt ugly candidate to lose to Hillary.
Okay, that was tacky.

I could win it too, but "could" is the keyword.

Hillary could win in '08 if all the Republicans stayed home...
To: Aussie Dasher
I think it's more a case of "don't throw me in that briar patch."
Cheney would love to see her garner the nomination. She can't win a general election.

DEADPAN: "Hillary could win. Oh gosh, please don't let her be the nominee. Oh, I am so scared. Yes, she could win. Oh my goodness. Hep me! Hep me! Hep me!"
*insert knashing of teeth here *

VP Cheney misses not a thing. He just redirected attention off Obama and onto Hillary, one woman even liberals dislike immensely.
Poor, poor MSM... all that Obama footage and no where to play it.... sniff.

Hillary will not go into the primaries. She would be forced to spend too much money which will hurt her chances in the general.
JR, mark it down, right now, Hillary will be the Democrat candidate for President in 08 without facing a debate or going through the primary.
The date of her entrance into the race will be two days after the third debate.
Obama will be the VP nominee. After the candidate backs out, Hillary will be recruited to save the party with Obama as her running mate.

It's not a dream. It is the reality of the Clinton political machine.
The first thing you will see is Howard Dean gone. Depending on how many seats change hands this November will determine how fast the change takes place.
If the Dems do not get at least one house, Dean will be attacked in the press and be the scapegoat. A Clinton crony will take over. Maybe Bill himself.
The Dems will spend the next two years cleansing Hillary and grooming a VP candidate for her that will appeal to the masses. This Obama thing was a trial balloon to see where he stands. It is also a signal to black voters to get out and vote.
Watch it unfold. The dance is well choreographed.

I agree.
The recent Osama/Obama mania is Hillary vetting her potential VP.
Woman + Black on the ticket. Locks up the Dem base. Then she focuses on just enough margin in the middle to win.

I think the Vice-President is setting her up. He knows she will get trounced in the general election if she is up against McCain or Guiliani. He is trying to "tee it up" for Republicans in 2008.
Other wise his talking points would say "Hillary? She is much too liberal for this country. America would never elect her." Instead he is trying to puff her up.
